Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a grind that can be compared to a workout. Every day for the past almost 2 weeks I have created a new post on this blog. I’m aware that these articles may not have achieved the amount of views they deserve, however I’m confident that over time, like a bodybuilder, I will eventually see results.
Believe it or not, yes, there is. A couple impressions here and there are being logged. Google’s crawler is also being fairly slow to index the entirety of my blog posts. It would be nice if my sitemap were crawled every day, but unfortunately that’s not a reality.
Getting backlinks is hard. There are several strategies I’ve looked into for building backlinks, and I’ve even listened to a podcast or two that references different sources. But aside from directory listings and social media biographies I have to wonder: what kind of website would link to this one? I don’t mean this in a negative way, just an inquisitive one. Although ChatGPT’s recommendation was to not ask a competitor for a backlink, I think in the online web development and marketing space, it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
This week you can expect more guides and valuable resources, faithful readers. Don’t forget that SEO and ranking on Google is like a workout. Don’t give up. If you’re interested in getting a backlink from me, I'd be more than happy to talk to you about featuring each other on our blogs. Email nicholasconrad@icloud.com.
